David Harbour opens up about going by ‘grueling’ weight reduction for ‘Stranger Issues season 4’
American actor David Harbour revealed that he needed to lose 80 lbs. for his movie, Stranger Issues season 4 in solely 8 months with a view to correctly painting his beloved character Sheriff Jim Hopper.
“I misplaced about 80 lbs. from season three — I used to be about 270 [then], and once we shot [season four] I used to be round 190,” Harbour instructed British GQ.
The actor defined that with a view to correctly painting Hopper — who begins the brand new season held captive by Russians at a labor camp — he misplaced the load in simply eight months by doing intermittent fasting and Pilates.
“I do not assume I am going to ever do this once more,” he instructed the outlet. “I’ve this Santa Claus film [Violent Night] popping out for Common in December and I gained [it all back]. However now, yeah, by no means once more. The prosthetics are too good.”
Harbour’s Stranger Issues character has been a fan favourite because the hit Netflix collection premiered, and curiosity within the star’s physique piqued late 2017 when Merriam-Webster tweeted a clip of him dancing on the present as a visible definition of the time period “dad bod.”
